Welcome to FirmaLofts. By using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding with any booking or work.
1. About Us
FirmaLofts provides loft insulation installation and related services across the UK. All work is carried out by experienced professionals to a high standard.
2. Quotations
All quotes are provided based on the information available at the time (e.g. plans, site visits, or customer descriptions).
Quotes are valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise.
Final pricing may be adjusted if:Site conditions differ from what was originally assessed
Additional work is required
Access issues are encountered
We will always communicate any changes before proceeding.
3. Booking & Payment
A booking is confirmed once agreed by both parties (written or verbal).
Payment terms will be outlined in your quote or invoice.
Unless otherwise agreed:Payment is due upon completion of the work
Late payments may result in additional charges.
4. Work Scope
Work will be completed as outlined in your quotation.
Any additional work requested outside of the original scope may be charged separately.
We reserve the right to refuse additional work if it falls outside our service offering or safety guidelines.
5. Access & Site Conditions
The customer is responsible for:
Providing safe and reasonable access to the loft space
Ensuring the loft is cleared where necessary (unless agreed otherwise)
Informing us of any known hazards (e.g. asbestos, unsafe wiring, structural concerns)
We may delay or cancel work if conditions are unsafe.
6. Installation Standards
Insulation will be installed in line with current UK building practices and recommendations.
While we aim to meet performance expectations (e.g. thermal efficiency), results may vary depending on the existing structure and ventilation.
7. Damage & Liability
We take care when working in your property; however:FirmaLofts is not liable for pre-existing damage or structural weaknesses
Minor cosmetic disturbance (e.g. loft boarding marks, insulation dust) may occur
Any accidental damage caused by us will be assessed and resolved fairly.
8. Delays
We are not liable for delays caused by:
Weather conditions
Supplier issues
Access restrictions
Unforeseen site conditions
We will always aim to communicate delays as early as possible.
9. Cancellations
Customers may cancel prior to the scheduled work date.
If cancellation occurs with short notice (less than 24 hours), we reserve the right to charge for lost time or materials.
10. Guarantees
We stand by the quality of our workmanship.
Any issues must be reported within 14 days of completion.
We will inspect and rectify any faults caused by installation.
This does not cover:
Damage caused after installation
Changes made by third parties
General wear and environmental factors
11. Waste & Clean-Up
We aim to leave the work area tidy.
Any waste removal will be handled as agreed in the quote.
Some residual dust or disturbance in loft spaces is normal.
12. Privacy
Any personal information provided will only be used for:
Providing quotes
Completing work
Contacting you regarding your service
We do not share your data with third parties without consent.
13. Changes to Terms
FirmaLofts reserves the right to update these terms at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
